There is truly no fantastic ending, no
Magical conclusion to the lives of those who
loved each other. The story doesn't end with us climbing a final stair
and dancing into heaven together. It doesn't end with you carrying me
though a doorway. It doesn't even end with a simultaneous "BANG!" It ends
More like wilting flowers, or rotting fruit:
at some point, one will go. Then the other.

I apologize if this has entered the realm of depressing. I was waxing philosophical at 4am when I wrote this. I'd love feedback...and would imagine that there might be some out there for this type of subject.
